Big on Bloor was last weekend. That was actually the first time I have gone. It was pretty cool, way too hot though!! haha. I just wanted to mention cards with a conscience. My roommates cousin, Michelle had mentioned to me that she was thinking of doing Big on Bloor way back at Diane's Greek Out birthday party. I had pretty much forgotten... until I saw Michelle there! She is selling cards are handmade in India by the 45 children enrolled in the Earn 'n Learn program. This program has taken children out of dangerous street labour and enrolled them in school by creating a safe and fun way of earning a necessary income in 3-4 hours maximum daily.
I got one from the one of a kind initiative!
