these are some of the things that i have been shooting for my major thesis project. i am actually shooting with a Bolex film camera using 16mm film. but the purpose of these clips (shot on my handheld point and shoot) is to be able to share, more readily, what i am working on.

i was very excited about this kite!! and shot it from every angle possible :D

so the grass in the actual filmed footage is going to have a different focus. the film film will have a smaller depth of field. only small parts of the grass will be in focus (and shifting in and out of focus in the wind) and the majority will be out of focus.

This was an experimental shot that was zoomed into the tv while the menu for eagle vs shark was playing. not sure what i think of it yet... we shall see!

I also have a shot that is framed somewhat like the image below. i forgot to shoot this digitally as well. but the shot was taken on a clearer day and when the shadows from the trees were really long. in the bottom left hand corner you can see people walking or a dog running through the park.

Oh - and i also tried to shoot birds! i think i got some. the frame for those shots included a power line and sometimes they were sitting on it.
